Challenge
Designing for the 2022 KPMG Women’s Irish Open at Dromoland Castle required creating a distinctive visual identity for the event’s return, balancing the prestige of an international tournament with KPMG’s brand. The challenge was to design a new logo and cohesive system that remained clearly within brand guidelines, yet distinct enough to stand as its own identity, all while performing across a wide range of applications.
Solution
I developed a bespoke event logo and built a flexible visual system anchored by the tagline “Inspiring the Future,” ensuring the identity stayed true to KPMG’s brand while introducing enough differentiation to stand on its own. This was rolled out across an extensive suite of assets for an event attended by thousands including spectators, staff, and volunteers, as well as broadcast audiences. Deliverables ranged from large scale course signage and wayfinding to accreditation, uniforms, digital content, and TV ready graphics, ensuring a consistent, premium presence both on site and on screen.
